All Fur Fun dogs have been examined by a veterinarian and have received a rabies vaccine and a DHLPP vaccine, plus a heartworm test if they are over one year old. All dogs receive flea, tick and heartworm preventative and are micro-chipped. 

Fur Fun is a foster based rescue so our dogs are living in a home environment. We know how our dogs behave in a home and how they get along with other dogs, kids, and cats. We know the activity level of our dogs and know whether or not they require a fenced in yard or just a walk on a leash. We know if our dogs are housebroken, their eating and sleeping schedules, etc. 

Our adoption application asks about you, your home, kids, and other pets. The adoption process involves the adoption application, meeting the dog, processing the application, a meet and greet with any current animals in your home, a home visit, and an adoption contract. Processing an adoption application includes a background check, veterinary check if you have existing animals, and reference checks.  

Adoption fees are posted on Petfinder and our website with each dog’s biography and pictures.
